We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager-Millwork to join our team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an effective professional to support the planning, documentation, execution, and client satisfaction of some of Woodmeister's most elaborate projects. Utilizing a broad range of skills, this position will coordinate all the support aspects of high–end residential construction projects, from inception through completion.

This role is based out of our Holden, MA headquarters.

In this role, you will work closely with assigned Project Managers to support project goals and objectives, including these core responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Verify the scope of work and thoroughly understand the bid/contract package.
  • Assist with the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and prepare and document change requests.
  • Manage documents and drawings.
  • Create bid packages for subcontractors and solicit quotes.
  • Maintain project-specific contacts from clients, vendors, and subcontractors and document all project-related communication amongst the group.
  • Document and maintain meeting minutes, action lists, punch lists, and assist with the coordination and execution of required action items.
  • Occasionally perform job site visits and help with site management.
  • Complete take offs
  • Purchase materials for project
  • Support subcontractor/vendor buyout management

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of construction experience, preferably a combination of on-site and back-end project support.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing for occasional travel to job sites.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
  • Working knowledge of Innergy is considered a plus, but not required if you have an aptitude for learning new software.
  • Extremely well organized and able to maintain multiple priorities simultaneously while self-prioritizing your work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and able to deal effectively with both internal and external customers.
