This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled carpenter with at least 5 years of experience in high-end residential work to perform general construction duties at job sites in both city and suburban locations. Our projects range from renovations to new home construction. In this role, you will work with other Woodmeister employees and subcontractors to deliver high-quality craftsmanship that exceeds our customer’s expectations. You will work with our Project Leaders and Site Supervisors to maintain safe and productive jobsites and help meet scheduling deadlines and budgets.
Must have a valid driver's license and able to drive a company vehicle.
Ability to travel throughout the Boston area and overnights when needed!
Other Responsibilities include:
- Ability to work using blueprints, drawings, and instructions to construct, install, and repair high-end structures and fixtures.
- Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements and compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools.
- Candidates should have thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry.
- Must be able to perform heavy, physical labor.
- Must have valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company-owned vehicle
